University of Nevada to host Nevada Native Student LEAD Program

The University Center for Economic Development and the Nevada Leadership Program, part of The College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno, is proud to announce that, in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno's Office of Indigenous Relations and the First Nations Development Institute, will host its second annual Nevada Native Student Learn, Empower, Achieve, and Dream (LEAD) program July 7, 2024 through July 13, 2024.

The Nevada Native Student LEAD program is a one week immersive experience where Native high school students across the state have the opportunity to live in University dorms and explore campus and college life. This experience includes learning about how to prepare for college and navigate the academic, social, financial and cultural aspects and opportunities of being a student at the University of Nevada, Reno.
