The Holidays are upon us. As we get ready for the winter let’s remember it’s cold and flu season.
Now is a good time to stock up on all the over-the-counter items you might need when waking
up and feeling ill with a runny nose, body aches and congestion. Good things to keep on hand are
Tylenol, Ibuprofen, NyQuil, vapor rub and cough drops.
Remember to stay hydrated and, if you are so inclined, get a flu shot. If you have Medicaid or
Medicare, Flu, RSV and Covid immunizations are available at our local Walmart and Walgreens.
According to CDC (Center for Disease Control) a fever is defined as a temperature of 100.4
degrees or higher. If the fever reaches 103 degrees or higher, urgent medical attention may be
required, call 911.
Take care of each other and stay healthy out there!
